With nearly three decades in the financial services industry, Greg Allen brings experience, discipline, and a steady, client‑first mindset to every financial relationship. His work is grounded in a simple philosophy that has guided his practice for years: Plan First. Invest Second.
Greg specializes in helping individuals and families who value professional guidance and prefer not to manage the complexities of their financial lives on their own. His focus is on building long‑term relationships rather than executing one‑time transactions. Each client engagement begins with a detailed financial strategy designed around personal goals, risk tolerance, investment objectives, and both current and future tax considerations.
Greg’s investment approach emphasizes suitability and risk management. Before selecting any investment, he works to ensure it aligns with the client’s primary objectives and avoids unnecessary risk. With the support of LPL Financial resources and independent research, Greg develops both short‑ and long‑term portfolio strategies tailored to each client’s needs.
Greg has been in the financial services industry since earning his bachelor’s degree from the State University of New York at Oswego in 1994. He holds the Series 7 (General Securities), Series 66 (Registered Representative/Investment Adviser), Series 9 (General Securities Sales Supervisor – Options), and Series 10 (General Securities Sales Supervisor – General) registrations through LPL Financial. In addition, Greg holds his North Carolina Insurance License and Long‑Term Care Insurance Certification.
A strong believer in lifelong learning, Greg views education as essential to professional excellence and client success. He has completed all six educational segments of the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ curriculum and continues to expand his knowledge to stay current in an ever‑evolving industry.
Greg takes pride in a thoughtful, relationship‑driven planning process and welcomes the opportunity to discuss clients’ financial goals, concerns, and long‑term vision. As a father of triplets, Greg understands firsthand the importance of long-term planning, disciplined decision-making, and preparing for multiple financial priorities at once.
